🇻🇳 Vietnam to select its Eurovision Asia 2026 song tonight

Tóc Tiên will perform five songs in The Sound of Vietnam tonight, with viewers and a professional jury deciding which entry she will take to Eurovision Asia 2026 in Bangkok.

Vietnam will take the next major step in its Eurovision Asia journey tonight as Tóc Tiên performs five potential entries in The Sound of Vietnam.

Tóc Tiên has already been selected as Vietnam’s first-ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia representative, but the song she will perform in Bangkok is still to be decided.

Five different creative teams have worked with Tóc Tiên to create the songs competing in tonight’s selection.

The five entries are:

  • “KHÓ GÌ?” — created with HIGHLUA

  • “a to A” — created with VIZA

  • “EM TIÊN” — created with S•HUBE

  • “FOLLOW ME” — created with M1 MUSIC

  • “LOVE ALWAYS WINS” — created with TINLE

All five songs will be performed live during The Sound of Vietnam before one is selected to represent the country in Bangkok.

How will the winner be chosen?

Viewers from both Vietnam and around the world will be able to help choose Tóc Tiên’s Eurovision Asia entry.

The final result will consist of:

40% — Vietnamese public vote
40% — Professional jury
20% — International public vote

International voting is free through the Eurovision Asia website. Each viewer can cast eight votes, which must be distributed across at least three different songs.

The professional jury consists of Lưu Thiên Hương, Huy Tuấn, Dương Khắc Linh, John Hùng Trần and Gavin Nguyễn.

How to watch The Sound of Vietnam

The Sound of Vietnam takes place today, Saturday 3 October, beginning at 16:30 CEST.

Viewers in Vietnam can watch the selection on VTV3, while international viewers can watch the show live through the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
